In the beginning ... there was snowboarding. Sassy, free, creative, and unconventional. The snowboarders were a bunch of crazy alpine adrenaline junkies, an offshoot of the California surf culture and game for anything (but swimwear in winter). The young sport developed rapidly and hit the High Street. The scene's fascination with freedom was subsequently subjected to the dictate of fashion and branding - catalogs replaced creativity. The only thing sassy fashion's hot colors. "Unconventional" became the buzzword of snowboarding's mass-market commercialization. The beginning of the end? Quite the contrary: the beginning of Pure Boarding!

For us, there was only one vision: creative snowboarding, with a maximum of freedom and versatility. No Limits! And a whole lot of fun. While so many profit-driven companies were struggling for success, we at Pure Boarding had two decades to maintain the roots of snowboarding and to systematically develop our holistic approach

We developed Pure Boarding in order to have maximum fun under all piste conditions.
Today, our modular toolbox offers snowboarders of all skill levels the freedom to feel at home in all kinds of styles.

Pure Boarding mixes extreme sportive potential with easy going-ness creating a cocktail, which conjures the typical Pure Boarder a "Big Smile" in the face.

• For us Pure Boarders the alpine environment is more than an impressive setting and a creative challenge. We see ourselves as guests in this fascinating ecosystem, which we use responsibly, indeed, but are never allowed to exploit.

• We are united, regardless of sport or performance level, by the joy of winter sports; we share the lifts and slopes. The variability of Pure Boarding and our safety concept ensure that the fun remains, even if sometimes space can be a limiting factor.

Respect for your (and our) health

• During the development of the Pure Boarding technical scheme sports-medicine played an essential role.
  After all our sport should promote health - and not vice versa!
  Pure Boarding stands for "No Limits". But still, sometimes fitness,
  technical proficiency or the physical as well as mental state can set limits.
